The 136th China Import and Export Fair is an event co-sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of China and the People’s Government of Guangdong Province and hosted by the China Foreign Trade Center.

With the theme of “Serving high-quality development and promoting high-level opening up”, the Canton Fair has a total exhibition area of 1.55 million square meters, a total of 74,000 booths, 55 exhibition areas and 171 special areas. The three phases respectively focus on the theme of “advanced manufacturing”, “quality home” and “better life”, and attract new quality productivity.

There will be 1.15 million new products, 1.04 million green products and 1.11 million independent intellectual property products on display, all of which are significantly higher than the previous session. The Canton Fair also optimized the cross-border e-commerce display area and trade service area to provide full chain trade services for exhibition merchants. At the same time, it will continue to set up import exhibitions in three exhibition periods, with an exhibition area of 30,000 square meters, attracting 730 enterprises from 49 countries and regions.

It is worth mentioning that this Canton Fair has vigorously improved the efficiency of the online platform to help achieve “never ending”. The online platform has optimized 18 functions, launched virtual digital people for the first time, and launched a new Canton Fair APP. This year’s online exhibition is larger, with a total of about 48,000 enterprises uploading about 3.75 million exhibits, and the number of enterprises and exhibits increased by 60% and 50% over the previous session, respectively, reaching a record high. In addition to the normal operation of the online platform, the supply and procurement docking activities will be carried out throughout the year. Since the closing of the last session, a series of “Trade Bridge” supply and acquisition docking activities and online industry theme activities have been organized to help exhibition merchants carry out trade cooperation efficiently.
